I have worked for the NHS for over 30 years, starting my career at Cheltenham General Hospital working as a Health Care Assistant on the cardiac unit. I spent 17 very happy years there and coronary care became my passion. I then moved to Barnwood Medical Practice and have been with them since 2004. I love my holidays with my husband and family. We have two sons and three beautiful grandchildren. I particularly enjoy minor operations clinics which we do every Monday at the Aspen Centre. I’m very fortunate to work with a great team of nurses.

Some patients call me “vampire lady” and ask me “How many tubes do you need for today?” I tell them “Only two tubes are needed, which will be enough to last me for the day.” Hopefully, it makes the blood drawing process a bit more bearable and easier.
