We are looking to recruit an administrator to join our friendly and supportive team in a busy doctor’s surgery in Gloucester.
Mainly based at our Askwith Road (Saintbridge) site, our administration team work together to support the practice performing duties including scanning & filing, clinical coding, summarising of patient records, referral management, private report administration, as well as a varied range of general administrative tasks (such as responding to emails, dealing with patient queries etc). The successful candidate may be asked to perform any of the team’s tasks.
We are looking for someone with previous administration experience. Experience in healthcare and/or a GP surgery would be ideal but isn’t essential as we give full training.

Medical Receptionist

We are looking for receptionists to join our team within Aspen Medical Practice, a busy GP Surgery in Gloucester.
We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with our patients and other colleagues in a professional manner. Previous customer service experience is desirable. You will be working in a busy and sometimes stressful environment, and you will become an important member of a friendly and supportive team.
This position provides structured internal progression opportunities, enabling staff to develop further. Progression opportunities can be discussed at interview, and this starts after successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.

Job summary
Aspen Medical Practice is looking for an experienced, motivated and compassionate Frailty Nurse to join our established and friendly multidisciplinary Frailty Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of proactive, high-quality care for our frail and elderly patients. The role is central to improving outcomes for patients living with frailty through early identification, personalised care planning and coordinated working across primary, community and secondary care services.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering structured frailty reviews in line with current contractual requirements. A significant part of the role will involve home visits and the management of complex patients in the community.
In this job role, you will assess individual patient needs, initiate investigations, and initiate appropriate holistic, evidence-based treatment and care and liaise with other teams as appropriate.

Salaried General Practitioner
Salaried GP – Aspen Medical Practice
Permanent | 4–8 sessions per week | Full-time or part-time working considered
Salary: £11,465–£12,114 per session, dependent on experience
Aspen Medical Practice is looking to welcome an enthusiastic and dedicated Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking team.
We are a large, well-established GP practice caring for approximately 32,000 patients across Gloucester. Since forming from the merger of four practices in 2018, we have grown into a single multidisciplinary team of around 140 colleagues, all working together to provide high-quality care for our patients and their families.

This is a permanent Salaried GP role for 4–8 sessions per week.
While we can offer some flexibility around working patterns, for operational reasons the post holder will be required to work Monday and/or Wednesday as part of their agreed working pattern.
The post holder will also be required to undertake one regular Extended Access session per week, for which an enhanced payment will be made. This session will be on one of the following:
Saturday, including 08:30–12:00
Friday, including 18:30–20:00
Thursday, including 18:30–20:00
We know that workload matters. Our standard face-to-face GP sessions are structured to support safe, manageable working, with 10 x 15-minute appointments, 4 protected follow-up telephone slots, and 1 hour 10 minutes of administration time built into each clinic session.
You will be joining a highly skilled and genuinely collaborative multidisciplinary team, including GPs, nurses, clinical pharmacists, frailty specialists, results nurses, a mental health nurse, social prescribers, trainees and experienced administrative colleagues. This team-based approach helps reduce unnecessary GP workload and allows our doctors to focus on delivering excellent patient care.

Experience of SystmOne, additional clinical interests, or GP trainer status would be welcomed.
