I have just recently joined the PPG and look forward to working with the group providing support to the Aspen Center as a patient representative. I retired from the Armed Forces in 2004 after 25 years of service and settled down with my family in Gloucester. My local GP surgery at the time was Saintbridge surgery, which I have received outstanding health care from with my long term condition.

I have worked in various positions in the NHS since leaving the forces and I am currently working as the Senior Programme Manager for digital transformation for primary care in Gloucestershire.

I am proud to say I am the founder of the Health & Hustle which promotes health and wellbeing for NHS staff and patient groups who use Fitbit https://h8h2019.blogspot.com to get active. This includes couch to 5km programmes, park runs, walking groups and much more.

What I aim to bring to the PPG is my experience using healthcare technology to support patients using NHS apps that are currently available. It’s now time for me to give something back following the great care I have received and hope my input will go towards supporting the practice and patients who use the Aspen Medical Center.
