Managing your health online

Contact us using eConsult

There are many things you can do online at our surgery without needing to telephone the practice. In many cases this will also be quicker than phoning us. Between 7:00am and 12pm you can contact us using a website called eConsult where you can:

  • request an appointment
  • request a sick note
  • ask about test results
  • contact us about an admin request

Please do not use eConsult to request medication. See Prescriptions for further information.

Contact us using an Online Form

You can also use some of the online forms on our website to contact the surgery about specific things. You do not need an account to use this element of the website.

Using your NHS account via the NHS App or through the NHS Website

There are other tasks you can do online, like:

  • view & order repeat prescriptions
  • view your test results
  • access your health record
  • check or cancel appointments
  • see your vaccination record

For these, you can use your NHS account (through the NHS website or by downloading the NHS App from an app store)

Setting up an NHS account

To set up your NHS account for the first time, you will need to set up an NHS login. Read about how to set up NHS login (nhs.uk).

Once you have set up your NHS login, you can log in to your NHS account or download the NHS App onto your phone. You should not need to attend the surgery to set up and use the NHS App

Using the SystmOne Airmid App or SystmOnline

If you have a smartphone you can also use the app ‘Airmid’ as an alternative to the NHS app. This is an app created by our clinical system provider. Visit the Airmid Cares Website for for information. If you do not have a smartphone you can use SystmOnline via a web browser. To set these up for the first time:

  • visit the surgery with photo ID so we can confirm your identity
  • we will give you a username and password
  • go to SystmOnline or use the app to register
